Too early to be shiny

A quick trip to the Beachhouse this morning. S left her Kindle and I wanted to water the newly planted veges and herbs. This afternoon a brisk walk to Franklin Road, and took this photo.

Later: this is another Paul Walsh painting on a utility box. He calls it It's so shiny. Franklin Road has established a pattern of Christmas lights decorating their houses, and more, and the street is visited most evenings during Advent, by families from all around the greater Auckland area. There was much too much daylight at 1730 for the lights to be turned on
