Wednesday

A tense day led into an upsetting evening and night.

I got a phone call from mum tonight as I came out of counselling. Grandma has deteriorated and maybe I should come up. Steven was already there. She had already stopped breathing twice today after letting out a huge breath. When I arrived she was settled but very cold. The nurse who has been lovely has said she has maximum a day left.(but can't be 100%sure) Other signs that they look for are there (it's a bit morbid so I'm not sharing).
At 10pm mum had been there for 12hrs and felt really tired. We have come home and I am picking up Mum first thing tomorrow.

I saw these dark shadows tonight as I came home from work.
