Lunch Crowd

At The Marshwalk around lunchtime today, one of the fishing boats came in and they gave a nearby kid some scraps to toss out to a rapidly formed group of extremely anxious brown pelicans.

Some lucky pelicans were rewarded, others not quite so fortunate.

But so it goes in nature, or the fresh seafood lunch buffet.
