Don't Give Me That Look!

It was a particularly warm day today and quite a few birds were out around the marsh to take advantage of what they were hoping would be good fishing conditions.

This one blue heron stayed quite close to the edge but sure gave me a look.

All I can say is I wouldn't want that sharp bill plunged into my leg.

I expect it would hurt. The fish are on their own as far as this behavior goes.
