Stone coffin stand

under  the litchgate at Kington St Michael where I went with the Village Detectives today.  In the extras is a table tomb with a face on the front but in the church porch there was a war memorial to the 5 men who died in the first world war. Unusually, underneath was a much longer list of men from the village who had served their country in the war but survived. On my return at 4.30 I received a message from Daughter 2 asking if I had any marmalade to bring for Christmas - ha!   - but there was by 7.30!
