Miniature painting 3" high
Spent some time in the green oasis of the Ram Niwas Bagh (Mughal botanical gardens) and then went to the Albert Hall (opened by Queen Victoria's son Albert in the 1870's). Lots of good things to see, pottery, huge bronze shields, hideous weaponry only made palatable by the exquisitely beautiful handles, 6" high models of every kind of wallah , paintings, textiles, lace and fans inlaid with fluorescent blue or green beetle wings and so much more. Followed one of those little ground squirrels scampering along inside a clear piece of plastic - not sure whether he was taking it home for his nest but he made me giggle.
