Lay over

Left beautiful Noosa to arrive in very stormy Sydney!! They closed the airport just as we landed due to two thunderstorms taking place. The landing into Sydney was, for me, slightly hair raising. I swear Qantas are fuel saving when they come into land nowadays. The long gentle approach has vanished and now it’s a hurtle down to the runway at full pelt and slam the aircraft down quickly!!! I hate landing.

Dropped our bags at hotel airport and jumped onto the train. It’s only 15mins or so by train to Circular Quay. Went for a pizza. Very nice pizza over looking the ferry terminal.

Back now at the hotel. Early flight to Fiji tomorrow. Fiji has bad weather according to reports. Apparently it will be stormy, heavy rain, thunderstorms for our entire trip and a high of 30 degrees!!!!
