It Snowed!

Not much, and it didn't last - but it felt right that we had got some.

We had a quiet day with the family - reading papers, chatting, going and looking for a laptop (for sister-in-law) and getting Butterfly's Christmas present (a camera! ....... cheaper than over here).

In the afternoon I went with SWMBO and her brother to check out the house (in the extras box) that they stayed in for 3 years when they were growing up.

In the evening we took out hosts and their 'kids' out for a meal, after which SWMBO, her brother and I went for a tour round the neighbourhood to see what decorations were up (there is a prize for the best dressed house).
I had a good chuckle at the giant Santa (Yes - that is a life sized blow up of Will Ferrell as ELF next to it) and the airport ..... complete with turning propellers on the planes and helicopter (and a faint whiff of burning electrics) - just a shame the hot air balloon had deflated.
