Spirits Lifted

Today I drove the car for the first time in ages. Mr PB has been my chauffeur over recent months, and although I felt ready to get behind the wheel again, I was not too keen to do so before the ice and snow had disappeared. A bonus today was the sunshine, so a short drive was the order of the day, followed by a short walk. The rough pasture was full of birds, including Redwing and Fieldfare with the highlight being a Yellowhammer, but sadly too far away for photos. A Kestrel posed a couple of times, but not long enough for me.
