Christmas Magic

Today was the People’s Democratic Republic of Christmas. If you’re not familiar with it, that’s possible because it is in its infancy celebration wise, this being only its second year. Should you wish to participate next year the only thing you need to know is that anything goes and there are no rules about what food is and isn’t allowed. Today our lovely friends hosted and there was a truly magnificent spread laid on, with three types of roast, roast potatoes, pigs in blankets, two different salads and coleslaw to name just the bits that spring to mind in a Generation Game style way.

There was also a very amusing Secret Santa. One of the presents was a basketball set. The orange is the ball.

Set us up perfectly for a cosy evening of another Christmas film for me and Anna - Love Actually, which she loved. And Sports Personality of the Year and The Apprentice Final.
