"You called Madam?"

We went to the National Trust property Upton House in the Cotswolds this afternoon to meet Maureen and Ian. It was cold and rainy and we were pleased to get into the house which had been decorated for Christmas including Santa at the top of the stairs quizzing youngsters on their present lists. This bell board is in the servants quarters as we exit the house; there are seven bathroom bells!
