Old Timber and Barnacles

I took a trip to Dawlish this morning and walked the opposite way to the way I usually go. The coast path goes below the railway platform and follows the railway line.

There are some interesting rocks and I liked this old timber which I suppose is an old sea defence but which doesn't seem to be doing much now. There's an extra of a boathouse which I think is connected with the Coastguard station when it was here.
