Chuffing Great Day
The coven went to Ramsbottom today for a little mooch around the Christmas Markets. It was really cold and started snowing at one point, but the stalls were great and not as expensive as the Manchester ones. We tasted cheeses, shortbread, treacle parkin pudding and chocolate. As Pat was trying on a dress in a shop we were given a mug of mulled wine, it was all very civilised. The Santa Express chuffed through the town and I can never resist a steam train!
We went back to Ellen's and she had made butternut squash soup for us and we soon warmed up enough to have a chilled glass of fizz. Hurrah for wonderful friends :))
