Seeking Divine Inspiration At The Xmas Party

I hadn't been to the staff Christmas party in years but we all decided to make the effort and go. After a cheeky beer or two beforehand we got to the party which had a musicals theme this year (as you can see by some of the costumes).
The drinks were offered as we came in and I made the fatal mistake of switching to glasses of champagne. However, the proffered alcohol does help everyone to loosen up a bit and really enjoy themselves. There was an "official" party photographer there but I managed to sneak in my little Coolpix A and take some shots. I much prefer being behind the camera rather than in front of it, and emboldened by my third (or was it fourth?!) glass of fizz I struck out on the dance floor with my camera to get some more shots (see extras).
The only distracting thing about the event was how loud the music was, it was deafening. I could stand right next to someone but we had to shout our conversations at each other just to be heard.
The shot I chose for today was slightly different from the extras. The "nun" was standing in a corner of the gallery and she just happened to look up at just the right time - I just liked the incongruity of it.
After the fifth (or was it sixth) glass of bubbly I decided it was time to depart before I got any more sloshed and was still able to find my way to my hotel.
