Fab Day

Oh, what a top day! Some of the team met in Manchester to mooch around the markets. Mike, Sue and I all got the bus together and went for breakfast.....sausage and bacon sandwiches washed down with bucks fizz. The perfect way to start the day.

Lou, Sabine, Paula, Liam, Ashleigh and Amanda arrived and then we went into Albert Square for gluhwein. Aram couldn't join us as he was working in Norfolk House....well it would have been rude not to go and say hello, wouldn't it. So we burst in and gave them a rendition of We Wish You A Merry Christmas....I took them a tin of choccies too. 

More gluhwein, mini pancakes, more gluhwein and lots of laughs and mooching and chatting. Oh they are a great bunch, we had such a good time. The forecast was for rain, but the sun shone. It was cold, but perfect for wrapping your hands around a piping hot mug of gluhwein!

It was the Fab Four, as usual, who were last to leave....Mike, Sue, Sabine and me. We went for a couple of cocktails (and the chance to use the loo) and the heavens opened, but when we left for the bus it stopped again. Oh someone was looking down on us today. 

I need to go to bed now as I have to be up at the crack of sparrow fart for yet another pre op and then race to Manchester United for the session there......I think I've had too much to drink today.......
