Favourite Brooch

This has been a day of doing nothing but napping on and off all day. My body has finally revolted against all the non-stop days without rest breaks or naps.

This is my favourite brooch. It belonged to my paternal grandmother. For years it was pinned to the shoulder of my dress winter coat.

Here in the south the winters have gotten warmer and so my dress winter coat is a thing of the past. I actually miss not having something specific for this to be pinned on. I’m hoping to find something in my wardrobe one day that will tell me it needs to have this pin. :-)
