Step One: Fit your life into a Rav4

After a few months of basement surfing with some very generous friends, we finally whittled our belongings down to the essentials and were able to fit everything in Andrew's Rav4 and Thule roof box. (Note: the two essentials we did not fit were our beloved kittens, WallE and Eva, but more to follow about that later). On October 17th we said goodbye to Madison and started our 2,000 and some mile journey to Seattle.
