Synchronous Learning

They teach. They present information. Skillfully, they invite participation. They create an atmosphere of warmth and acceptance, an atmosphere of learning, relaxed, enthusiastic learning. A friendly atmosphere.

They're honest, and never flinch when you are too. They're not afraid of their weaknesses and not bothered by yours. On a break, you can pull out your scissors and trim a thread from their jacket and they will giggle, not pull back or make you feel uncomfortable for caring about the thread.

They are fun, they are real. It is worth investing two days of your life to learn with them. Even learning dry, complicated material, they're that fun. And enthusiastic. They inspire you to forget the material is dry, because they're going to make it easier to remember, easier to do your job, worth learning.

They made the "mandatory" seem like an elective. They made the week seem easier. This is my thank you to them.
