Poppyseed Cake

My friend P gave me this recipe well over thirty years ago, and it is still a frequently requested item at family dinners. Tonight was my grandson's 16th birthday, and how that happened so fast is a mystery. He was just playing on the floor with his collection of miniature cars, and now he's saving money to buy a real car and thinking about college. I guess that makes me just a tad older too.
