THE BLESSING OF FRIENDS.

These are the beautiful flowers that my dear friends brought us when they came to dinner.  We used to live next door in Hampshire 26 years ago and they now live in Newquay.  We have kept in touch for all those years and supported each other through family trials and tribulations.  Attended weddings and rejoiced with them etc.

So it was lovely to cook for them and celebrate the season as we both get caught up with our respective family commitments.

We should never under estimate the joy we receive from friends.

And on that note, thank you dear blip friends for keeping in touch.  I cannot commit to posting every day but do read all of yours.
