A little robin in the garden

It's the shrub not the bird though. I noticed this leaf standing out above everything defiantly and managing to avoid all the snow despite being in a vulnerable position. Maybe there's a lesson in there somewhere.

Was having a good day, making progress, getting things done and then a friend called to give me support and ended up doing the opposite. I was a wreck when she left.
I'm trying to distract myself and stay positive, not dwelling on anything and she is someone who seems to like to talk about all the ins and outs.

I'm just starting to feel a little bit better now. Wish I knew of a magic way of reversing negativity.
Actually managed a quick drive round this evening after clearing the car of snow. Don't want the battery going flat. Forgot my camera to get those Christmas lights. Drat and double drat. :)
