No snow :-( but plenty of frost

Very, very cold this morning .... car needed de-icing before I could set off for church.

I don't remember when I last saw the leafless trees covered in such a heavy frost. It was as close to a winter wonderland as possible when there is no snow.

It was very foggy on the drive back from church but by the early afternoon the fog lifted and we enjoyed a brief period of blue skies.
