A day of two halves

I dug the car out of the snow this morning and drove gingerly down the road to buy more logs for the stove. We had a family brunch before going over to the south side of the lough for a long walk. The was less snow over there as you can see from the pic which is looking from the Bangor side over to the snowy north shore.  The cormorants were huddled on the rocks as usual, just a bit too far out to catch a sharp shot (extra)
