Never misses an opportunity

Mary makes the best of every possible opportunity,making links wherever she goes.
Today was the turn of Mchanguatua with its 59 teachers and numbers well over 3000 students. Casca and Mary visited. Mica preschool is close by and Miriam joined them to check on the progress of their 19 past pupils who have now moved on to standard 1.
The picture shows Ester Matupi, head teacher, Jessie Mkandawire, teacher of STD 1, with Miriam and Casca. Miriam was delighted with the progress of her past pupils and participated in class activities. Follow up visits have been planned. Adult Education was also discussed and plans are afoot to team up with the primary school to provide an opportunity to a number of parents to availof primary second chance education.
Another successful day on all fronts.
