Wild again (Day 944)

A light dusting of snow fell overnight, and Talisker seemed to thoroughly enjoy his wander up the hill this morning.
Back at home my beautiful wife and warmed up over coffee before heading across for a quick visit to Coldomo.
After lunch at home, we took the dogs to Wasdale for a walk. It wasn't as windy as yesterday, but as we parked the car it was snowing. The snow turned to hail, and we were lucky to have the wind at our backs. With the weather looking like it was going to take a turn for the worse, we cut the walk a little shorter than normal, and headed back to the car. I stopped briefly for my one photo of the day, another snow and hail shower being driven past on the strong wind.
Later I dropped HV at her work and collected some stuff in town, returning home to spend a while cleaning the boiler very slowly. The finger seems to be improving - the swelling has gone down enough that I have been able to put gloves on properly for the first time today, so I made the most of it and got the boiler cleaned. The finger gets another check at the hospital tomorrow.
