Breezy (Day 943)

The weather forecast had warned of fairly strong winds which made their presence felt as the dogs and I walked up the hill this morning. The rain made it even more unpleasant.
It was soon time to take my beautiful wife in to her work, and then for me to have a zoom round the supermarket. Back at home I got a vat of chilli, a cauldron of bolognese and a couple of curries on the go. I am useless at cooking small quantities so the huge batches will be portioned up later and frozen.
After lunch, I braved the elements and took the dogs out to Wasdale. The wind was so strong that the loch surface was being ripped off into a cloud of spray. I came very close to being blown over several times. The walk back to the car and into the rain was very hard going and extremely unpleasant.
It is unusual for the sea at the bottom of the garden to be rough. Today it looks wild. Apparently it is going to snow later.
