Flutter Butter

There was a robin feeding on this earlier this morning. I waited and waited for it to return without spotting it. I must turn the thing round so I can see any birds feeding on it better.

Changes being made to what happens with mum when the carers call of an evening as she was washed with a cold wash mitt last night and that resulted in her being awake until after midnight. Had to give her a sedative and both of us were shattered this morning.

I was on the phone to a Macmillan buddy giving me support when the carers came tonight so couldn't get involved with what was happening with mum too much. Was amusing to see they'd laid her flat as a fluke so I raised the head of her bed to a more comfortable position.

She had her flu jab today. Hope that doesn't cause problems as it has before so I'm dosing her with Vit C effervescent tablets in her water and echinacea drops to boost her immune system.

We'll get there all working together for the best. :)
