Goodnight Dad

We were having a quiet morning at home today when the phone rang and Ethan answered it. He brought it to me, rather confused as he didn't know who it was. It was my parents neighbour and she just came out with it - my Dad has died.

Completely out the blue - none of us saw this coming. He collapsed at home while Mum was at church and although she and a neighbour did cpr when she found him and the paramedics were called, it was already too late.

Absolutely devastated and feeling very numb and confused.

Dad loved looking through my blips over the years. I'm so behind with them and have lots of backblips to do. Not sure my heart is in it, knowing he will never read them.

Mr Foreveryoung looking after the kids this afternoon while My Hubbie, Foreveryoung & I have come to Beith to be with Mum.

He sent me this photo which Ethan has drawn today of his Grandpa. He has written on the back "To Grannie. I'm very sorry Grandpa died. I'm sad too".
