The light at the end of...

... the tunnel we took a chunk out of.

We were sailing/floating/gliding/pushing against the walls to navigate our path through this stretch of the Regents Canal. Just after Little Venice under Warwick Avenue.

Our journey aboard Shelly from Harlesden to King's Cross was beautiful if a little slow and bumpy. As a group of virgin hen weekend sailors we zig-zagged along and with some (work-away-day-like) team building bonding eventually conquered Camden locks. I became the offical hen weekend photographer and cherished the chance to capture scenery, poses, people doing their thing as well as the funny, cheeky and awkward moments. Thankfully I was too busy, snapping away at the public eagerly waiting to witness our lock challenge, to fully notice the drunken a******* and arrogent t*** of a pirate who boarded our vessel.

That aside, it was a fabulous and different weekend. This tunnel was mesmerising. As with the pirate, I was too busy snapping away to notice the moment before we took a chuck of the wall. Oops!
