Carmen and Josep

Went to the St George's Church Christmas fayre morning and bought a few goodies - Christmas crackers, branson pickle, Christmas mince pies and self-raising flour - from the British shop in Barcelona, which had a stall at the fayre.  Then on to lunch at Casa Joana in Sarria and picked up our put-aside Christmas lottery tickets - one for us and one for a friend in New Zealand and another in Australia!  We then decided on the spur of the moment to pop in and say hello to our ex-landlady Carmen and her husband Josep.  She's now 88 and Josep is 83.  We've known them since we rented one of their first flats in Sarria from 1993 for five years.  We've kept in touch since and although we only see each once a year or every two years, it's always lovely to see them and catch up.    Here's Bb's blip of our last visit to them:
