First one......

Received our first Christmas card a couple of days ago, and thought it would make for a nice blip.  Although it is in English,  it came from some Scots friends who moved to Spain about twelve years ago.  They built a wee house on top of a hill in a town about an hour's drive inland from Malaga; we visited them a year later when our club was in Spain, and they were very happy then.  

The note with their Christmas card confirms that they are still very happy there, and talks about visiting when next they are in Scotland.  Haven't seen them for a few years so I do hope they come home in the next year for a visit.  But I guess Scotland is not home any more!

We had our last Communion service of the year at church this morning, and it was very moving.  Also welcomed back my friend Margaret and her daughter, who had spent the last five weeks in Australia.  And they have some tales to tell, it will take a few weeks to hear all their adventures, I think.
