Christmas in the city

Went into Glasgow today to shop with C.  The HG went walking!

We had lunch, and then hit the shops.  The city is really busy but we were on a mission and we knew what we wanted.  And achieved all we intended!
Had coffee in John Lewis before doing some shopping there, and then headed over to George Square.  The Square is wonderful this year, with a Christmas market, a helter skelter, carousel, and other rides.   Lots of nice finger food on offer and mulled wine. 

However, we opted to go to the Atlantic winebar for a glass, before heading home.  And I really enjoyed watching the very talented makers of cocktails, some fab drinks although I stuck to wine.
