‘.........but the greatest of these is Charity’

His Lordship and I passed this window display in the Central Church, Tollcross Hall, which reminded me of TractorFactoryPhotos’ Blip today, with the accompanying blog telling us that after seeing a piece of news on BBC, his children have decided to make a reverse Advent Calendar by putting a non perishable item of food each day this month into an Advent box and delivering it to the nearest food bank for Christmas.

It is a wonderful gesture for young children looking forward to their own bountiful Christmas to think of others less fortunate. It is a lesson to us all.
