Excellent time with the very good people of St Mary's Prittlewell for their Advent and Commissioning Service of Lois, their newly appointed Children's and Families Worker. People have been praying on this site for more than 1300 years, so there's history in abundance. But their eye is firmly on the future of their whole community. Today's highlights ..... incredible welcome from all the church community, the best, and most fabulous sausage rolls, mince pies and mulled wine at the end of the service, and an incredible, tangible feeling that this church is moving forward, growing and doing so with great joy! And they have a great Christmas tree (see extra).
