Sacre Bleu, It's Sacre Coeur!

Arrived in Paris in time for a lunchtime baguette and glass of mulled wine, then wandered down Rue Lafayette to our hotel.

Having checked in we took a stroll down to Opera and the Galeries Lafayette, where hundreds of people were admiring the window displays (see extra). It was freezing cold so we found a brasserie for a Happy Hour mojito.

After a quick change back at the hotel we walked up to Montmartre for dinner then walked some of it off by climbing the steps to Sacre Coeur; this is the view from the Place Du Tertre. It was a wonderfully crisp, cold night and the area was relatively quiet and atmospheric.
