A single gull
The mist over Hollingworth Lake created a beautifully peaceful scene today. Only muted colours could be seen. The bird population today included some Great-crested Grebes, as was confirmed to me by a knowledgable-looking chap carrying binoculars and that.
I gather that today's photograph marks the anniversary of a few days before I started posting on this marvellous site, approx 6 years ago. It has become a most enjoyable part of my life, in which I have learned a lot from the terrific work of others and have made some great friends, all over the world.
