Back south

Got up early and got car from garage. Then said our goodbyes and drove back south.
Did some shopping and then my sister cooked kjötsúpa, a lamb broth, for my birthday tea. And my birthday cake for pud! I am spoilt. Bergdìs came over, it was lovely to see her.
This is my first birthday in Iceland for 29 years! It's been a great time, but I am reminded why I don't live here anymore. The winters are hard.
