Hmmmm

I think there is a theme in my photos..... work. The reason is that I work, hard (obviously) and get very little time to do much else. My job is fairly demanding from 7.30am right through until 6 or 7 at night somedays. it can be hard to squeeze a blip in, especially when you consider that when I get home the average upload time for me is around an hour (after crashes, temper tantrums and wind changes) it does become quite a chore to blip. I can't take a photo, I can't upload it and I can't see yours.

I won't stop blipping though because I love it. As I don't comment much anymore (not due to ignorance, due to BT being unable to provide adequate internet to my house) the interest in my own pictures wains. I noticed that the more I comment, the more I get commented on. I guess that although that isn't particularly 'the point' of the site, it is inevitable. However I still get as much out of it personally as I ever have. I'm currently experimenting with CS5 and I'm pushing myself to blip everyday.

In other news it's a good job Vodafones 3G network activates a little blue light on my dongle here at work, and sad it only activates the green (shit connection) light at home.

It's a good job I'm not single and hence have no need to frequent specialist sites for my kicks. If that were the case I'd be the only man in my local newsagent shuffling nervously along the magazine racks, glancing towards the top shelf only when the coast is clear.

I remember a mate of mine who once went in to buy one, grabbed it and rushed to the counter to pay. The shop keeper glanced at it, smirked and handed it back to my mate. He paid his £2.50 (or whatever it was) and left the shop well chuffed. He went straight home, jumped on his bed and pulled down his tracksuit (I wasn't there, although it does sound like it) and reached for the bag. He was almost started as it came out.......

It was 'Play Girl' packed full of fellas in (and out) of incredibly small underwear. He'd not paid attention to which mag he'd grabbed.

As you can imagine he has never been able to forget it. We later cut it to pieces and hid the pictures all over another mates granddads house while they were on holiday. Hilarious.

This is the yard at work snapped during a brief journey out to see Tim 'Dad' Hall who started yesterday with us. 'Dad' as I call him was a colleague of mine about ten years ago, and a close friend. He plays in the band The League Of Mentalmen I've talked about before, a band he let me sing with on my 27th birthday! I've all the time in the world for Tim who as a single parent raised two really well mannered and sensible boys. Him coming to work with us was a factor in my change of heart.

I'll ask him for an SP tomorrow......
