Breaking News!

It's official. A new Aldi's is going to be built on the site of our old much-loved food market. We strongly suspected it would be another supermarket and although we'd still much rather have our food market, Aldi's won't be bad. I've enjoyed being back in Bcn these days and have been trying to do our food shopping in small independent shops rather than the supermarkets. I now have a fresh fish shop and a butchers/green grocers I like. Fish pie tonight for dinner. Much tastier than last time, with the addition of mustard, dill, garlic and white wine to the creme fraiche.
