Rain may pour for an hour or more more like all day long

Vervascum thapsus in the rain. The plant is black in places but these little yellow flowers keep appearing. Apparently the leaves and flowers can be smoked; not my idea of fun:
Mullein Leaf (Vervascum thapsus) is an effective cough remedy, Mullein acts as an expectorant and tonic for the lungs. Laboratory tests have shown it has anti-inflammatory and antibiotic properties that inhibit tuberculosis bacillus. Dried leaves are rubbed vigorously between the hands to prepare it for smoking. The flowers of Mullein are an exceptional ingredient for smoking blends. Their effects are much the same as leaves but without the 'green' taste. These flowers have been seasoned (aged) and are a nice golden brown. Seems very odd to me but I did get this "information" from the internet, so it comes with a health warning (so to speak).
