Big Bubbles No Troubles
I was taken with this display of frozen bubbles in ice, this morning at Slimbridge Wildlife and Wetlands Trust.
A fully three dimensional collection where bubbles of methane have risen from the leaf compost at different times, leading to their entrapment in different layers of ice as the stream froze harder.
Yes, bit chilly today. I also enjoyed the (extra) colony of tiny fungi hiding under one of the trees near the kingfisher hide, each one less than a centimetre tall.
What I really enjoyed though was getting home to the warm and putting my feet up after a long meeting with developers and a walk in the park and the burial ground with the landscape contractor. Brrr...
