Christmas Sparkle

Spent the afternoon volunteering with the Medical Detection Dogs Charity at the Castle Christmas Market. It was a pleasure talking to people about the wonderful dogs and their magical noses. Lovely to chat to my friends from the wildlife, falconry and retail team too.

As dusk fell the lights began to twinkle and a touch of Christmas magic descended along with the sound of the brass band and smell of gingerbread.

At the end of the afternoon I had a giggle with the girls looking at some themed Christmas decorations. We found a mini red jumper one that was almost identical to the one I was wearing and a Persian cat wearing a crown with her friend in a garden party hat?! I might have to blip them for you. They're so chintzy they're fabulous!!

Longing for a hot bath this evening but I'm on day 7 of low water pressure waiting for a replacement heating element for the boiler. Thankfully the shower works for hot water albeit a bit of a trickle. Fingers crossed it gets fixed tomorrow!
