‘Hammering Man’
In Seattle for Thanksgiving visiting my sister and her extended in-law’s family. 18 family, friends, & 3dogs for gourmet turkey dinner; food, wine, wonderful fun chatter, warm wishes, wine, dessert, coffee and then we did it all again on Friday (with 14 people & 4 dogs) at Audley & Kate’s ( pulled pork tacos & arugula pear salad and. . . ), AND again on Sat at Mama Melina’s in Univ District (fab restaurant). Sat’s crowd dwindled to 10 with a few on departing flights & some working- but none the less another GREAT evening. We finished just in time for the Football traffic, hah.
Captured ‘Hammering Man’ in front of the Seattle Art Museum as we were leaving a special Blipmeet with John (johnsmiley1321); delightful, entertaining gentleman. We met at the Smith Tower which is a marvelous old bldg with great architecture and a small interesting & interactive museum- for both tourists, Washingtonites and children all ages. John has some great photos in his Blip journal, as usual for him ! My sister Marla & I enjoyed easy conversation and memories of travel & family with John while traversing the Museum, observation deck and seated in the Chinese Room cafe bar. It was a wonderful Blipmeet. Thank you John for joining us and for your delightful company.
Looking forward to another visit and Blipmeet.
As for H-man - he never tires - his arm actually moving up&down as if hitting an anvil. Quite a striking image ( if you don’t mind the pun, haha). But since I haven’t learned how to add Extras yet you need to take my word for it. Enjoy the season !
