A Ribbon for All

Teal Tea Foundation (TTF) is a charity that supports ovarian cancer research and patient programs. We have some TTF programs of our own. But this morning we took a TTF check donation to Monmouth County Hospital. The donation was earmarked specifically for their Cancer Center and the programs available to un-insured and underinsured women.
It was a most rewarding day, made more special sharing it with a few TTF friends (& including a fab breakfast at a unique Jersey Shore restaurant after the presentation, haha).

This 6’ ribbon was in their lobby. It started as an open chicken wire ribbon and sat along the boardwalk for a fundraiser. Friends, family and well wishers made donations to purchase a single ribbon. . Then they wrote the name of a person they lost to a cancer or disease and they tied that ribbon to the wire. . . . Whalah. . . this beautiful ribbon was the result.
