Winter arrives on the high fells

Went for a walk this morning to test out the newly purchased Paramo waterproof gear. We wandered around Loughrigg - this shot was taken near Lily Tarn. The Crinkles and Bow Fell are the snow covered peaks. Weather turned and we hit by a sharp shower. The new gear performed brilliantly - walking in the rain will be a more pleasant experience in the future.
