Duvet day

Almost literally. Didn’t really get out of bed until two in the afternoon; tea, music, books, cats ... what’s not to like?

Did go into the local town centre for chai latte and mince pies. Heaving with pre-Christmas post-payday crowds. Took refuge in Waterstones - comfy chairs and the calming effect of books. Bumped into Top Gun with his big happy grin; when he sees you unexpectedly his smile is a gift, just like my old mum used to give.

Watched an old movie, ate the rest of the curry from last night ... perfect lazy evening to top a lazy day.
