Deano

After a sad, reflective day, yesterday, today was quite to the contrary, largely due to the arrival of the king of Carry On, Deano. Two or three times a year, he pitches up for a few days, possibly the lowest maintenance house guest ever, whilst always full of good cheer and (mostly terrible) jokes. 

Dan and Abi adore him and, indeed, I can't think of anyone else I know who can get on with people of all ages so effortlessly. The kids didn't even notice that I was distracted for a while this evening (by The Canadian Thing) as they were so absorbed by Dean.

At one point, Dan, Dean, and I went 'round to Booths to buy pizza for supper. They didn't have the one that Abi wanted so this pair of clowns modelled some alternatives for her.
