Our Lewis is sporting a brand new crash hat. I watch F1 on Belgian television since the toothless BBC lost their franchise to Sky - & I'm damned if I'm going to fork out anything to Rupert Murdoch & his rapacious tribe...

Anyway, the commentator pointed out with patriotic pride that Lewis's new hat had been designed & made in Belgium & took a mere 75 hours to produce. Speedy!

So - Lewis, after a rather slippy-slidey last lap of the third qualifying round ended up in second place on tomorrow's starting grid. Valtteri Bottas took Pole.
