Can you smell the vin chaud? The Hot-dogs, the hamburgers or the sauerkraut? If you fancy any of the above - now is the time!

Wait too long & all the alcohol in the vin chaud will have long since evaporated. Wait too long & little salmonellas will be having love-ins at the bottom of the sauerkraut heap.

Anyway - I really liked this tree decorated with yards of vermillion ribbon - it took imagination & enthusiasm to do that - things the Brussels administration could never be accused of!!
