Life is ridiculous
It seems to me the more people there are in the world the greater the scope for being told what is going to happen and then being told it isn't.
This could all have been so much easier were it not for the multitude of people involved in decision making. Everyone seems to need to refer to someone else who gives the go ahead or turns it down. My life is being controlled by faceless people in high office somewhere. While the people I deal with directly can only dither and sound well-meaning.
Was let down by district nurses not turning up after I'd booked them yesterday and got told they were calling today anyway. Today I check and they've changed it to tomorrow but nobody bothered to tell me.
The social worker has had to pass everything on up, higher and higher because it's public money which will be given to us to fund care for my mum while I have an operation and recouperate.
I must have saved the public millions in the 14 years I've cared for my mum at home.
The social worker was almost telling me to start looking for another company to provide the care but I'd found the cheapest I could and to start again, well, I told her I'm running out of time to get something sorted by the time I go in and she agreed.
Hopefully there will be good news tomorrow.
